With more than 18 years of experience in the water garden industry Koi Villa's repair service has expanded throughout New England and to the Tampa Florida area each winter.

In January 2003 Kirk went to Japan and attended the Koi Show. PLUS he visited our importers to learn more about how they grow and care for our precious Koi. Today, Koi Villa, II specializes in servicing ponds, sick fish, repairing leaks, renovating existing ponds and upgrading filtration systems.

NEW ARRIVAL PROCEDURES 

• A Potassium permanganate dip is mandatory for all new arrivals.
• We inspect each and every fish after they have been dipped ensuring that they are healthy.
• After they are placed in a salted quarantine tank and isolated for 10 days.
• We oversee their daily habits for the next 9 days. Once their appetites return and they start swimming normally they are ready for sale.
  

Shopping: Looking for a particular fish? We welcome your visit in early spring when our new shipments arrive. This is the time to select your Koi and have them held for you. We recommend that you take this opportunity to select the best of the shipment.

Deposit: You are required to place a 50% deposit on all fish that are held for you. Koi Villa is not responsible for sudden fish death fish that is held. You will be able to select from our stock. This is a very delicate time and sudden death may occur.

Pickup: We will notify you to pick up your fish when they are ready.

Special Orders: For best selections we urge you to order early.

Serious hobbyists begin their shopping in the fall. All of the importers travel to Japan at that time so it is necessary to place yours orders with them before they leave.

We recommend that you consider buying in the fall if you are ready to purchase a Koi that is Show Quality or over 8 inches as that is when the best fish are available. If not select your Koi when they arrive in early spring and are still in quarantine.

Experiencing a fish problem: Don't wait- call or e-mail Kirk. Koi will let you know that something is wrong. Activities such as flashing, lots of slime, gasping, or staying by itself indicate medical problems.

Most often we will be able to assist you right over the telephone and then you will be able to come in and pickup the medication or we will mail it to you!

1. Your pond size. Measure the length, width and depth. We will figure the rest.

2. Your hose size.

3.  Your pump brand and size. (We can't help you if you tell us that it's about this big!)

4.  Your filter, model and size.

5.  Your Ultra Violet Light, model and size.

6.  How many fish you have.

7.  A current water sample reading for ammonia, pH and nitrites.

IF: You don't have a test kit and live in our area you may bring a sample for us to test. Now, we can now help you find a solution to your problem.
